The Kardashians Are "Surprised" About President Obama Not Wanting His Children To Watch Their Show

The Kardashian clan says they were completely blindsided when Michelle Obama revealed that Barack doesn't like when their daughters watch their reality show ... insisting the President has them pegged all wrong. The K-squad is telling friends ... they read Michelle's new interview with iVillage ... in which she said, "Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians -- when they watch that stuff -- he doesn't like that as much." We're told the Kardashians were "surprised" by the news ... because Obama personally told Khloe he thought "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" was a "great show" when they met last year. In fact, the Kardashians believe Sasha and Malia could actually LEARN something from the show ... because it features girls in real-life situations facing real-life problems ... health, relationships, the whole gamut.

Learn something? Listen, ladies. I love your show just as much as the next one. But if I had a daughter, mine wouldn't be allowed to watch either. Too much p*ssy, d*ck, naked talk in my opinion. Let's face it...your show is not particularly kid friendly.

Michelle Obama: Barack Doesn't Want The Girls Watching "Keeping Up With The Kardashians"

Listen. Can you blame him? I mean, they are trying to build future leaders here. The Kardashians aren't quite the role models I want my children looking up to either. REAL TALK!

During an interview interview with iVillage.com , First Lady Michelle Obama was asked about her children's television viewing habits. She explained that Malia and Sasha are not allowed to watch television or be on the computer during the week unless it is related to schoolwork, and they can watch limited television on weekends.

"Barack really thinks some of the Kardashian - when they watch that stuff - he doesn't like that as much," she said, "but I sort of feel like if we're talking about it, and I'm more concerned with how they take it in - what did you learn when you watched that. And if they're learning the right lessons, like, that was crazy, then I'm like, okay."

Ha! So you only watch the Kardashians to see what NOT to do with your life? Got it, Shelly!!!

*rubs eyes* Ummmmm, is that you Shelly?!?!? Like a regular person in Target? Where are the girls?

First Lady Michelle Obama was spotted in Alexandria, VA yesterday at her local Target store in plain clothes, as if she was one of the regular folks. 

So what exactly did she pick up from the store? A source tells PEOPLE that Obama "picked up dog food and toys for Bo," among other undisclosed items. 

Tampons, perhaps?
