Kim Kardashian Lands Role In Tyler Perry Movie!

Upon hearing the news that reality star Kim Kardashian has landed a role in Tyler Perry's latest movie, entitled "The Marriage Counselor", I already knew that this announcement would be met with cheers but mainly jeers!

Let's face it. Although Kim has acquired an enormous amount of success in the television, perfume, modeling - all around branding - world, there are quite a few people that can't stand her guts due to her "famous for being famous" platform. The question that I ask is.....WHY? She and her family have done a GREAT job of turning a horrible event (a sex tape that she made with her then BOYFRIEND "leaked" onto the internet - "leaked"? I even had to laugh) into something positive. She has acquired a huge fan base that allows her to be a "role model" to a lot of young girls. Listen. None of us are above public humiliation. It can happen to the best of us. She is only doing what LOTS of women would do (including myself! YEP....myself!) = turning a negative into a positive.

If she wants to star in a crappy Tyler Perry movie, by all means....MAKE THAT $$$$ Kim!

In what amounts to her most substantial acting role so far, Kim Kardashian has signed on to costar in The Marriage Counselor, the Lionsgate film Tyler Perry will next direct, based on his stage play. Shooting begins October 26 in Atlanta. The film tells the story of Judith, an Ivy League-educated relationship expert who makes her living dispensing marital advice, but is so bored with her own marriage that she breaks her professional code and cheats with a smooth talking client only to realize she has made a huge mistake. Jurnee Smollett plays the marriage counselor and Kardashian will play Ava, a co-worker who gives Judith a big city makeover and new confidence as she struggles with her personal issues. Kardashian previously played roles in the films Deep in the Valley and Disaster Movie.

PS - Oh, and don't think for a SECOND that Tyler Perry didn't know what he was doing in casting Kim! He knows that her in his movie brings along a whole new demographic (aka $$$$$$$$$$$$)! Smart move IMO.

Halle Berry Suffers Broken Foot On Location In Spain!

Halle Berry has suffered a broken foot while on break from filming scenes for her new movie “Cloud Atlas” in Spain the other day. 

Spotted boarding a private plane in Palma de Mallorca, Spain earlier today, the Oscar winner reportedly took a wrong step and heard a crack. Ewwwwww!

The studio released a statement to the press stating, "Halle Berry suffered a foot injury today while walking in Mallorca on a day off from filming Cloud Atlas. Production has adjusted their schedule and will continue filming."

'Entourage' Creator Vows That A Movie Will Be Made!!!

An Entourage movie seems even more inevitable now: The series finale on HBO Sunday featured an end-of-episode scene in which Jeremy Piven’s Ari Gold is offered the chance to assume the chairmanship of a major Hollywood studio. Will Ari renege on the deal he made with his wife to spend a year Italy and, instead, return to the fast line? That’s definitely a question that can be answered on the big screen, and the team behind the series indicated this summer that it’s their next priority. “We’re going to do a movie,” said creator Doug Ellin at the TV critics press tour. “We’re going to do it. It’s a question of when and how quick. We’ll sit down and come up with an idea.” Exec producer Mark Wahlberg was also bullish on the prospect: “Well, I said if I had to finance myself, I’d do it. I certainly hope it has a chance to become a feature film, everybody always says the episodes are too short. [Viewers] want to go on a journey. The Hangover to me is like Entourage.” Agreed Jeremy Piven: “I think [the final season] is a gratifying way to finish, yet I also feel we could transition into a movie.”

So Dancers, did you watch the season finale of Entourage last night? What are your thoughts? I agree with Jeremy Piven, they left us with just enough for a GREAT MOVIE!

Teyana Taylor Gets Into A Brawl With Male Movie Director

Rapper/actress Teyana Taylor claims she and a movie director got into an all out bloody brawl ... because he ignored her pleas to be taken home while she dealt with an abscessed tooth. Teyana and the director -- Jean-Claude La Marre -- were filming "Gang of Roses 2" last weekend outside L.A. ... when Teyana asked to be taken home because the pain was just too much to bear. According to 20-year-old Teyana, she asked multiple times to be taken home by car service -- and when La Marre continually refused to allow that ... she got in his face and started shouting. Teyana claims La Marre shouted back, "Don't f**king scream at me bitch" ... and pushed her in the face, hitting her aching tooth. La Marre claims he only defended himself ... AFTER Teyana "jumped on me and began swinging" -- but says he never hit her. Whoever started it .. we're told several crew members had to separate them. Teyana says during the scrap her shirt was torn open (above), she got popped in the nose and mouth -- and the blood ended up on her denim shorts. Teyana's people say they are considering legal action. La Marre says the only reason he didn't file charges is because "she's 20 years old and I'm 40 ... kids lash out." By the way, La Marre is finishing the movie -- a western also starring Amber Rose and Claudia Jordan -- but with a twist. He's killed off Teyana's character.

Simply put....REAL men don't hit women.
