'Basketball Wives' News: Evelyn Lozada Signs Book/Movie Deal + Jennifer Williams Offers "A Day In The Life"

Evelyn Lozada is HELL BENT on proving to the world that she is MORE than just a trophy piece for the world's famous athletes. The Hollywood Reporter says that the Basketball Wives star has just signed a six-figure deal  (high 6-figures or lows? REAL question) with Cash Money Content, a book publishing arm of the record label Cash Money Records, founded by brothers Bryan “Baby” Williams and Ronald “Slim” Williams. 

People on Cash Money read books? Oh.

Evelyn's first book released with Cash Money Content will be entitled, The Wives Association, (who are these "wives" Evelyn speaks of?) loosely based on her life using the alter ego Eve Inez-Landon to fictionalize the true stories she has learned from years of dating professional athletes. AKA....."hoeing". I ain't mad. Make your coins boo-boo!

“The stories that you hear—what goes on in these relationships, and just being in that circle—I decided to let everyone experience a piece of it for themselves by writing this series of juicy novels."

“By partnering with Baby and Cash Money Content, we have the potential to turn these ‘novels’ into a full-fledged brand,” Lozada explains.  “Everything Baby and CMC touches turns to gold, and our brands together will be magical.” 

These books will be co-authored by  former Law & Order: Criminal Intent writer Courtney Parker. So you know what that means.....Evelyn will tell the story. Courtney will write the book.

Reality Star Gloria Govan And NBA Boyfriend Matt Barnes SPLIT!

Hmmmmm. This is actually surprising news to me! Although teaser episodes of Gloria's reality show Basketball Wives: LA hinted at a possible split, I just assumed they were pulling our legs. But nope! The couple that everybody loves to hate are officially DONE!

WOW! Los Angeles Laker Matt Barnes and “Basketball Wives: LA” star Gloria Govan have called it quits after a lengthy engagement. The couple has been through its ups and downs; they called off their wedding which was supposed to take place last year and also faced domestic violence accusations. Ironically, Gloria admitted on a recent episode of  “BBW: LA” that she was finally in a place where she could give Matt the “deuces” if need be, but then later stated the he was definitely “the one”. Hmmm, well obviously something went down and now the couple has broken things off. Matt released the statement below:

“I’d like to address the rumors surrounding mine and Gloria’s relationship. We have reached the difficult decision of ending our relationship and will be going our separate ways at this time. We will work together to raise our sons and wish each other only the best.”

Oh, and another thing! I was being my nosy self on Twitter the other day (as I normally am), and Matt had an exchange with a fan who suggested he marry Gloria or someone else will. To which Matt replied, "He can have her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ut Oh! Hopefully it won't get ugly....
 
The former couple will share custody of  their 3-year-old twins Carter Kelly and Isiah Michael.

SuperTrailer: VH1's "Love & Hip Hop" Season 2

YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where do I begin?

The ladies (and some new additions) of VH1's popular reality show Love & Hip Hop are back with Season 2, and let's just say....I am NOT disappointed.

Chrissy, Olivia, Emily, Somaya and new additions to "the circle" Kimbella (rapper Juelz Santana's girlfriend/baby momma) and Yandy (Jim Jones's manager) are dealing with some high powered DRAMA (to say the least) and here's a breakdown of what is to come:

• First and foremost, Chrissy beat the DOG SH*T out of Kimbella after it was revealed that Kimbella had a relationship with rapper Fabolous (Emily's estranged partner) 3 years ago. WHOA!!! Emily in turn realized that 3 years ago, she was pregnant! 
• Poor Emily! She still wants Fab to commit to her. But I'm not sure if he is ready. She moves out of the home that she shares with him, but still loves him dearly. Will he come around?
• Chrissy (whom I adore!) is still trying to get Jim Jones to marry her, and is NOT letting off the gas.
• Olivia is still trying so desperately to stand on her own feet in the music industry with the help of her Manager, Rich Dollaz. During one of the scenes, Rich even started to tear up (yes...CRY) because he is so passionate about Olivia and her talent. I can't front....it ws touching to me! I don't have a problem with men growing emotional. Do you?
• Speaking of emotional men, Jim Jones also started to tear up when he was discussing with his mother, Nancy, her disdain for girlfriend Chrissy. Oh, and Nancy is a rapper now yall. She came up with a rap song dissing Chrissy. My Heavens.....
• As for the 2 new additions: I really don't know what Kimbella "does" exactly other than look pretty. The self proclaimed aspiring pop star, actress, "azz model", etc etc etc gets into ANOTHER fight with a woman that I can't quite make out *sigh*. Jim Jones manager, Yandy, is trying to get along with Chrissy (OF COURSE), because let's face it....if Chrissy doesn't like you? WE HAVE PROBLEMS!
• And last but not least...Somaya. Poor baby. She is still trying her darndest to become this rap superstar...to no avail. Her and "manager" Maurice are at each other's throats about EVERYTHING. I wonder will she still keep him on her "team"?

SOOOOOO MUCH! But I wouldn't expect anything less.

I hate when people complain about reality shows breeding drama, and it not being good for television....BULLYSHT!!!! Sneak Peek: Real Housewives Of New Jersey Reunion...Caroline vs Teresa (VIDEO)

WOW! I'm actually very saddened by the turn of events on this season's Real Housewives of New Jersey....4REALZ!

In this shocking sneak peek of Part 1 of the hit Bravo show, it is revealed that the two original members of the broadcast Caroline Manzo and Teresa Guidice are no longer friends! As a matter of fact, it appears they hate each other! It is also revealed that Caroline is at odds with her sister and former RHONJ star Dina Manzo and blames Teresa for their divide. Teresa in return suggests that Caroline betrayed Dina.

WTF?!?!? 

Also revealed in the sneak peek, Teresa is of course still battling with her cousin Kathie Wakile and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga (and Caroline as well) about some disparaging quotes that Teresa included in her book "Fabulicious" about her "family" (peep the quotes).

Bottom line, it's Teresa vs. EVERYONE!

Let me just say this. I feel so invested in these people's lives (don't ask me why....I'm a Cancer), and it pains me to see that Teresa and Caroline/Jacqueline (who once shared a great friendship and even family vacations together) are no longer friends. And if I can keep it all the way real, even though I am a HUGE Teresa fan, she must take and accept a LOT of the responsibility in this! There is NO WAY that she can defend trashing her friends and their children in a COOKBOOK (even though she claims it was a joke) and not give them a heads up that she was going to do so! I'm curious to know why Teresa didn't let everyone know this BEFORE her cookbook went to print? *sigh* Oh Teresa! Even though you may consider that is was done all in good spirits, just think if the tables were turned. It wouldn't be cool, eh?

With that being said, I just want the other cast members to remember that Teresa is loyal and has a great heart (IMO). This is the same woman that you all vacationed with, children played with, fought Danielle with, etc etc etc. She's not a bad person, just made a stupid decision!

I just don't like that it's Teresa against EVERYONE else. And ummmmmm, Kathie and Melissa...where do your loyalties lie?!?!?

It's gonna be a GREAT reunion! Can't wait!!!

On why she is no longer on the show: Some of the women that are on the show they are not wives and the majority of them are but they’re not conducting themselves as such. So I don’t want to be affiliated with shenanigans and drama. The back and forth is uncalled for, childish and that’s just not me.

So did she really write those Facebook messages about Shaunie and Evelyn? Anybody who read that could’ve known that, that was not me period. Housewives Drama: Jacqueline Calls Teresa 'Scum'!

Just days after Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was accused of spreading the sexy rumor that her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, was once a stripper, fellow cast member Jacqueline Laurita is coming to Gorga's defense and attacking Giudice on Twitter. Rumors of Gorga's supposed profession spread earlier this week, when the Real Housewives cast came together to attend a fashion show at Posche, the boutique frequently seen on Bravo's series. Calling her one-time pal Giudice "scum," Laurita argued that Giudice has been plotting to attack Gorga for quite a while. "Teresa told me that 'rumor' about Melissa when she first started the show," Laurita Tweeted Saturday. "She wanted her out then. She plotted it. She played dumb on camera and even defended Melissa." For her part, Gorga is adamantly denying she was ever a stripper, as is her former employer at Lookers Gentlemen's Club, Larry Guarino. "She was a bartender for a couple of months years ago, it was such a short time," Guarino told Us Weekly Friday. "She was never ever a dancer." While Giudice has remained mum on the situation, Laurita says there are more skeletons in her closet soon to be revealed. "There is even a lot more to the story that will eventually come out. She's no good and yes…she has stabbed me in the back plenty of times," Laurita sniped of Giudice. "I'm not so forgiving anymore."

Listen I have NEVER been a fan of Melissa Gorga. After watching her debut this season on RHONJ, something just doesn't sit right in my spirit about her in relation to Teresa and her brother Joe's (Melissa's husband) relationship demise. "Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger Is In Hot Water For Her Comments On Jews And Gays (VIDEO)

Before I get into this Post, I have to say that I watched the season premiere of Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live when it premiered on Sunday, and I didn't take offense to anything Patti said. Granted, I am not gay or Jewish but I do think she is guilty of diarrhea of the mouth. She has no filter, which turns a lot of people off. Including me at times.....

"Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger is in hot water after she was a guest on Andy Cohen's late night program, Watch What Happens Live. In the above video, Patti was seen spouting generalizations about gays with a caller that being in an open relationship will definitely work out for him because he's gay. She even threw Andy in the mix asking when was the last time her was in a serious relationship...LAWWWWD!

She also tells another caller that Jews lie. NOOOOOOO, Patti...put a sock in it, my dear!

I think she is DEFINITELY guilty of running her mouth! But unfortunately when you're in the public spotlight, you need to have some sort of verbal restraint.

Now, Patti and Bravo have both issued apologies for the comments on Sunday.

Life & Style is reporting that Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa Guidice will be joining Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice" on the upcoming season, set to start filming late fall of 2011.

"Following in NeNe Leakes' footsteps, Teresa is on the next season of the show," a source reveals exclusively to Life & Style.

This is a good look for "Juicy Joe's" wife! Because let's face it, a few extra coins can always help, ya know!

• Laura revealed that even though she has been through a TUMULTUOUS 10 year relationship with NBA star Gilbert Arenas (most recently him allegedly throwing her out of their home with their children and no money), they are in fact back together. Oh ok. Listen, when it comes to relationships, NOTHING phases or surprises me anymore!
•  Gloria and Matt Barnes are still engaged, but not getting married anytime soon.
• Gloria admits that if Matt had the opportunity, then he probably would "bang Draya" her co-star. Ummmmmm. Hmmmm. Ya know, I respect her honesty! LOL
• The sisters reveal that they believe Jackie Christie is insecure and they serve MAAAAYJAH *side-eye* and shade about Jackie getting married to her husband Doug Christie EVERY YEAR! Ut Oh! I don't think they like each other anymore....
• They reveal that Draya flat out denies that she was arrested for child endangerment with her son and was arrested/had her child taken away from (even though certain things were documented). Draya claims it was a conspiracy against her since she was dating Chris Brown. AND that her son gave the police report. *blank stare* GIRRRRL.....
• Co-star Imani was left at the alter by her ex-fiance Steve Jackson....DAMN!
• And ummmm, Gloria doesn't wear her ring when she travels. *side-eye* Again....GIRRRRL! LOL

It's Official....Meeka Claxton Is OUT Of "Basketball Wives"

Ummmmm. Raise your hand if you're surprised by this news? *looks around...* Oh, okay...

Season four of the VH1 show "Basketball Wives" will have one less catfighter when shooting starts next month -- cast member Meeka Claxton is getting the boot. According to sources involved with production ... Meeka has not been invited back -- and we're told she hasn't even heard from producers since the reunion show was taped a few months back. We're told the final straw for producers came when Meeka filed a lawsuit against fellow cast member Tami Roman. Tami made it clear -- if Meeka came back to the show, she would not. A rep for Meeka could not be reached for comment.

"Basketball Wives" Star Royce Reed Shows Off Lots Of Skin In New Calendar Shoot!

One of my faves from the "Basketball Wives", Royce Reed (mother of Dwight Howard's son) is showing all of her 'lovely lady lumps' to the Universe in a calendar spread that she is currently working on!

I have to admit, I had no idea Royce had all of this BAWDEE under all of those Baby Gap clothes that she likes to wear *shrug....just being honest*.

In related news, Royce took to Twitter to let her followers know that along with the calendar, she is working on an energy drink, fitness DVD and another book. She currently has a book out entitled "College Girls".
