Vivica A. Fox's former fiance, Omar "Slim" White, says he's the one who walked away from their relationship -- and engagement. "She's a good woman, it’s just one of those situations where in life people outgrow each other," White tells toofab exclusively. "I’m highly intelligent, very wise and one thing I hate is negativity and drama, I hate arguing, and I value communication no matter what the problem may be. So as in any relationship, tension can build up and I finally had to walk away." The couple's engagement made headlines last January due to their 19-year age difference. "I was only in it for love and it just didn't work out. Even though she was older than me the age difference didn't play a part," Omar added. Vivica has yet to speak about the split, but did tweet "I'm excellent! All is good thankx!" this morning. The "Kill Bill" star was married to singer Christopher Harvest from 1998-2002.Damn, Aunty Viv! You'll find love soon enough boo-boo! Just make sure next time he's a little closer to your age. 19 year age difference? Listen. That man is FINE, so I can completely understand the "connection".
I think that the misconception that is so annoying in the media and the press is that the wedding was a sham and she did it for the money. Kim didn’t make any money off of this wedding. It’s like “Oh, you made $18 million!” She didn’t make five cents off of the wedding. She spent millions of dollars of her own money on the wedding and our network was very generous and filmed the show and obviously gave her a salary and all of us shoot fees and all that. But it’s not like we walked away with millions of dollars jingling in our pockets. Absolutely not! So the people that write this stuff, it’s absolutely ridiculous. I read the cover of the New York Post this morning and somebody wrote all of these things that are so far from the truth. It’s absolutely someone’s opinion and I guess they’re entitled to their opinion but what angers me so much is when people print things and then everyone thinks “Oh, that’s a fact or that’s real.” It couldn’t be further from the truth. So get your facts straight and stop being so judgmental is what I say to all the naysayers.
Just two years after tying the knot, Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard have separated, Deschanel's rep confirms. "It was mutual and amicable," a source adds. "There was no third party involved."Awwww. I love me some Zooey! The couple married back in 2009 and have no children.
WOW! Los Angeles Laker Matt Barnes and “Basketball Wives: LA” star Gloria Govan have called it quits after a lengthy engagement. The couple has been through its ups and downs; they called off their wedding which was supposed to take place last year and also faced domestic violence accusations. Ironically, Gloria admitted on a recent episode of “BBW: LA” that she was finally in a place where she could give Matt the “deuces” if need be, but then later stated the he was definitely “the one”. Hmmm, well obviously something went down and now the couple has broken things off. Matt released the statement below:Oh, and another thing! I was being my nosy self on Twitter the other day (as I normally am), and Matt had an exchange with a fan who suggested he marry Gloria or someone else will. To which Matt replied, "He can have her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ut Oh! Hopefully it won't get ugly....
“I’d like to address the rumors surrounding mine and Gloria’s relationship. We have reached the difficult decision of ending our relationship and will be going our separate ways at this time. We will work together to raise our sons and wish each other only the best.”
It was fun while it lasted. After two tumultuous years together, Jersey Shore couple Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Sammi Giancola have called it quits. "We are not together," Ortiz-Magro confirmed to Us Weekly at Tuesday's Paranormal Activity 3 superfan screening in New York City. Following an explosive spat seen on Jersey Shore's third season in fall 2010 -- he stomped on her glasses and called her a "spoiled bitch," leading to a breakup -- the pair reconciled to film their fourth season in Florence, Italy. "Being in Italy, in such a romantic atmosphere, brought us together," Ortiz-Magro told Us prior to the show's August premiere. "The first week was rough -- everyone was like 'Oh, my God.' But [Sammi and I] didn't fight at all in Italy. [It was] probably the highest point in our relationship." Jersey Shore's Paul "Pauly D" Del Vecchio -- who saw the couple fight, break up and make up during the show's filming in Florence, Miami and Seaside Heights, N.J. -- tells Us he prefers his pal single. "I love single Ronnie," Del Vecchio says. "When he's doing the relationship thing, I let him do his thing, I don't get involved. When he's with Sammi he's a different person. She's a difficult woman!"Listen, my life would be complete if these two would leave me alone (yes...ME)!
After five months together, Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio have parted ways, reps for both stars confirm exclusively to Us Weekly. The pair "remain friends," Lively and DiCaprio's reps added.Well what happened exactly? Nobody is actually saying. But ya know in Hollywood, people switch partners like they switch their underwear.
Kat Von D is all about updating fans on her personal life on Facebook. The tattoo maven turned to the Web to clear up some rumors swirling around her, including her relationship status with Jesse James. Kat wrote a Facebook note over the weekend titled “ODDS and ENDS” to clear up “a lot of the reoccurring questions” that people have been asking her since L.A. Ink ended earlier this month. One of those things was about her love life. “I am not in a relationship (And I apologize for all the “back and forth” if it’s caused any confusion),” Kat wrote. She also confirmed that she has no plans to move to Texas — Jesse’s home base — and will not be opening another tattoo shop. “And I am not leaving my shop here in Los Angeles, High Voltage Tattoo,” she explained, adding “I am in no way retiring.” She also reflected on her final days of L.A. Ink. “As hard as it is to sometimes let go of the things you are so accustomed to doing, I am happy to have done L.A. Ink, but am even more excited about new upcoming ventures — and cant wait to eventually share more about this with you all,” she wrote.
After a year back together, Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez have ended their romance. "They broke up recently," a source close to the Yankee slugger, 36, confirms to Us Weekly. The duo's low-profile love was marked by beach getaways and intense workouts together. So what got in the way? Their work ethic! "She's very busy with her career," the source says of Bad Teacher actress Diaz, 39. "And he's had injuries and wants to focus on his game. They're dedicated professionals." Accordingly, don't expect any drama in the wake of their split. "They're still very friendly and like each other," the source says. "He has an enormous amount of respect for her."
